Cookie Policy

1. Scope

This Cookie Policy applies to every page on dhesitrades.com, including the homepage, the education hub, and all subpages. External sites we link to and platforms we operate on (such as the marketplace we sell on, YouTube, and social media) have their own cookie policies.

2. What is a cookie

A cookie is a small text file that a site can store in your browser. Cookies are used to remember things, like whether you have already accepted a banner, or to track activity across sites. Similar technologies, like local storage and pixels, behave in comparable ways.

3. What we set

Dhesi Trades LLC sets two first-party cookies. When you join the waitlist, dt_waitlist remembers that you signed up so the members' results page stays open for you (it lasts one year). When you arrive through one of our tracked links, our attribution service Trakyo (section 4) sets trakyo_id, which lasts 90 days, and keeps the same id in your browser's local storage.

We also use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate usage analytics; it uses anonymous visitor IDs and stores no personally identifying information. We do not run advertising pixels or retargeting tags.

4. What third-party services run

Some pages on the site embed widgets from third parties. When you interact with these widgets, the third party may set cookies in your browser under its own privacy policy. The ones we use today:

• Trakyo. Our attribution service. Its script loads on every page from our own address, go.dhesitrades.com. It records which link, campaign or ad brought you to the site, sets the trakyo_id cookie described in section 3, adds that id to the links and embedded tools on our pages (such as the chat widget and booking calendars) so a later signup or booking is credited to the right campaign, and generates a device identifier from your browser's characteristics to recognize a returning visit. If you join the waitlist, your trakyo_id is stored with your signup.
• GoHighLevel (LeadConnector). Provides the chat widget script that loads on every page and the CRM that receives the same waitlist form submissions (name, email, phone, and your text-message consent) so a team member can follow up. The widget may set cookies under its own privacy policy when it runs. GoHighLevel privacy policy.
• Kit (ConvertKit). Receives the waitlist form submissions across the site, alongside GoHighLevel. Submitting the form sends your email (and name or phone if you give them) to Kit; the form itself does not set cookies in your browser. Kit privacy policy.
• YouTube. Hosts the live stream and replay players on /live. May set cookies related to playback, session, and aggregated viewer stats when the player loads or you press play. Google cookie policy.

The video player sets cookies only when it loads or you press play. The waitlist form sets dt_waitlist when you sign up. The chat widget and Trakyo scripts are present on every page. Blocking third-party cookies in your browser (section 5) stops the chat widget's cookies, and blocking cookies and site data for dhesitrades.com stops the dt_waitlist and trakyo_id cookies. The site keeps working without them.

5. How to control cookies

All modern browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies. Look for “cookie settings” or “site data” under the privacy section of your browser preferences. Blocking third-party cookies in your browser settings is the most effective opt-out for the embeds described above.

If you want a list of cookies you can opt out of, your browser's developer tools (Storage tab) will show every cookie set by the current page.

6. Do Not Track

We do not respond to Do Not Track signals. Vercel Web Analytics aggregates page views with anonymous visitor IDs. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Trakyo receives it with each visit it records.

7. Changes

If we add a new third-party embed that sets cookies, we will update this page. The “last updated” date at the top shows when the policy last changed.
